Directions to Kendall College

Our events are usually at Kendall College (directions and parking) on Saturday mornings from 10:00 am until noon. Occasionally, our event time varies or we meet at a different location. These variances will be highlighted below, though please read the full event notice for details.

 

 

Kendall College is located at 900 N. North Branch Street, Chicago, Illinois 60642, which is just north of the intersection of Halsted and Chicago Avenues.  (google map)

Directions:

From the south traveling north on I-90/94, take Exit 49A at Division St., then go east to N. North Branch St (first traffic light after bridge). Turn right and continue to stop sign, turn right.  Just before Halsted St, Kendall College will be on the right.  Parking lot is across the street and just north of their building.

From the north traveling south on I-90/94, take Exit 49A at Division St., then go east to N. North Branch St (first traffic light after bridge). Turn right and continue to stop sign, turn right.  Just before Halsted St, Kendall College will be on the right.  Parking lot is across the street and just north of their building.

Kendall College is easily accessible using the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA).

The 8–Halsted bus stops in front and the 66–Chicago bus stops a block south.

The closest CTA train stations are:

  • Blue Line–Chicago (0.6 mile; 66–Chicago bus)
  • Blue Line–Grand (0.6 mile; 8–Halsted bus)
  • Brown Line–Chicago (0.8 mile; 66–Chicago bus)
  • Red Line–North/Clybourn (0.8 mile; 8–Halsted bus)
  • Green/Pink Line–Morgan (1.2 mile; 8–Halsted bus)
  • Red Line–Chicago (1.2 mile; 66–Chicago bus)

Parking and entering the building:

• Free parking is available in the lot just north of Kendall College, across North Branch St. Please do not park in the lot directly in front of the building, because this space is shared with a health club.
• As you enter the building, tell the security guard you are attending Culinary Historians. They will tell you the room number and open the electronic gate.
