Join Zoom Meeting
How to join a Zoom meeting – You do not need a Zoom account, but you will need the Zoom app installed on your desktop or mobile device. You can either download the Zoom app in advance here. Or, you will be automatically prompted to download and install the Zoom app when you click on a meeting link for the first time. You can also join a test meeting at any time at https://zoom.us/test.
If you do not have a link via email, please e-mail Culinary.Historians@gmail.com for the zoom link.
The provided link will have the meeting ID and password built into it, though for those who phone in we provide:

You can access by phone at Chicago* phone number: 312 626 6799 (you will need meeting ID and password)
The meeting won’t begin until the appointed time. Please sign in advance if this is your first time to learn how it works.
If you’re new to participating in Zoom meetings, here are some tips:
• Download Zoom from zoom.us prior to the meeting.
• Test your video and audio, adjust settings as needed
• Join a test meeting at https://zoom.us/test
Zoom will check if you have a camera; if you don’t, it’s no problem. We may not see you, though you can still see everyone else on your computer.
Zoom will check if you have a microphone to participate. If you do not, you either listen-only, type comments and questions into chat dialogue box or phone in (and watch by computer).
If you have no speakers or headset, then phone in to listen and view via your computer.
If you have no computer, you can phone in to treat this as a conference call.
