3 tablespoons za’atar
2 teaspoons granulated garlic
1 teaspoon rosemary or oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
4 pitas
3 tablespoons olive oil
Preheat oven to 400⁰F
Mix the spices together in a small bowl.
Brush 1 side of the pita with a thin coat of olive oil. Sprinkle the spice mixture over each of the pitas.
Cut the pita into quarters for a soft middle or eights for a crisper finish. Spread on a sheet pan and bake until the edges are golden brown about 8 – 10 minutes, or longer if you like them crisp.
