Gaylon Emerzian of Trillium Productions (www.trillfilm.com), independent film producer and James Beard award winner will give you the insider’s view on the insanity of launching two video/culinary projects in the same year: www.Spatulatta.com website and the hour long documentary “Living on the Wedge.”
She must have done something right! “Living on the Wedge” premiered on Wisconsin Public Broadcasting in January 2006 and 4 months later Spatulatta, where kids teach kids to cook and eat well won the Beard award for best webcast.
We’ll talk with Gaylon and later we’ll screen the one-hour documentary on Wisconsin artisinal cheesemakers: “Living on the Wedge.” (www.livingonthewedge.com). This film includes interviews with award-winning cheesemakers: Sid Cook – Carr Valley Cheese Company; George Crave – Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese; Mike and Carol Gingrich – Uplands Cheese Company; Julie and Tony Hook – Hook’s Cheese; Willi Lehner – Bleu Mont Dairy and Anne Topham – Fontome Farm. Afterwards, there will be a question and answer discussion with Gaylon.
